Chant and Song Suggestions 2012

We are now the Rowdies for 2012!

Well, we always were the Rowdies... but it feels better knowing it's official.

If you have any ideas for chants, songs, or anything you can think of, put them down here! Keep in mind, chant suggestions should normally be easy to follow (for the Mob and it's drummer). So remember to KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).

I've been listening to the normal version of this song lately, but I think this version will get my idea across better. Just ignore all the announcer parts of this version.

That's a pretty easy one that most people know already! You may even keep that last line as "When we score a goal"

We sang this tune some in the first season, but with these words:

Hey, hey Tampa

Huh! Ha!

I wanna know

Can you get Rowdie?!

When we moved to St. Pete we dropped it. I was wanting to change it to "Hey, Tampa Bay! Huh! Ha! "

But this version could work, too if you guys wanna try it.

dear lord have I been waiting for this thread to start up. cannot wait for another season of full 90 support. I'll be posting chants throughout these next few weeks, as I've come up with a lot of new ideas in the off season. For now, I'll leave you with my favorite supports video. I have no affiliation with this club, but the emotion I saw in these five minutes was ironically beautiful (they had just been relegated by a last minute goal). You can hear passion in their voice, of both the love and despair. They can still have a laugh despite relegation, and show that no matter the result they support their club til the end. Also, a lot of brilliant chants mixed in.

They may have different songs, different backgrounds, and different reasons they support their club, but this is level of passion I want the Mob to someday achieve. Maybe not this year, but one day (without the relegation of course).
