I just received word we've lost one of our own. Noah Roberts passed away yesterday. Please send thoughts and wishes to his family. Once I get word of any arrangements, I'm sure we'll post them here. He was a great man, a loud voice in the crowd, and a joy to bring along on the epic road trip to Ft. Lauderdale for the Open Cup. I'll miss him, and the the Mob will be a little less rowdy without him.
Goodbye, Noah.

Noah was a pleasure to be around with, as his sense of humor and personality were uncanny and unique to Ralph's Mob. I am very thankful for the times spent with Noah and his family. Noah was a kind soul, and his passion for the rowdies and soccer in general are unmatched. I too will miss him.
Permalink Reply by Jay Anthony on February 9, 2012 at 5:12pm Oh, what a tragedy! Noah was a terrific guy, devoted family man and terrific member of the Mob and lover of soccer in all times and places. We should do a moment of remembrance at this season's home opener for him. Nothing but positive thoughts to Sara and his family.

Permalink Reply by Carrie Wininsky on February 10, 2012 at 7:10am I am so glad that we all had the pleasure of knowing Noah but am so sadden that we lost him so soon. Noah loved the Mob and the Rowdies. I remember first meeting him at the Auburndale preseason game in 2010 and the friendship growing from there with him and Sara. I also enjoyed whenever they could make a game and even the USMNT games as I knew how far they lived. I had many great chats with him in the RayJay parking lot and thankfully I got to chat with him a few weeks ago as well.
If anyone wants to send the family a card or anything please let me know. Reach out to me on Facebook private message or message me on here I have the address she is staying at right now.
I did talk to Sara yesterday and once she has details of a service or anything she will let me know. As of right now there should be a celebration of life planned for him on the 19th. Please everyone keep his family, children and Sara in your thoughts and prayers.
Permalink Reply by Amy Murray on February 10, 2012 at 8:20am My heart goes out to Sara and the kids as well as the rest of the family. I know Noah had a passion for the Mob, Rowdies, and life in general. I envy that kind of passion. Sara, if there is anything Nick and I can do to help out, please let us know. Noah will be greatly missed by many.

Permalink Reply by Jay Anthony on February 16, 2012 at 1:41pm Great idea, Francis. I have many photos of the Roberts clan at Rowdies game that might provide base images for a tifo.
Permalink Reply by Charles Cole on February 16, 2012 at 9:52pm we're planning on hanging a banner in memory of Noah for the entire season.
