OK, OK...  I've known' how to do this since day 1, and I'll share it with you.  Don't shut down for 6 weeks.  Instead, each northern team should claim a southern city to play games December - March.  Maybe have the league take a short break and take a couple weeks in January off, but you can double fan interest in the league if they played a longer season concurrent w/ the Euros, and add our great southern soccer fans back into the mix...   Has it occurred to any of you yankees, that one of the reasons attendance in Florida for games in July/Aug was so abysmal is our extreme weather?  You guys complain about games in cold, but 4pm games in Tampa on a July/Aug Saturday was torture.  Plus, the thunder and lightning is always a concern for safety, attendance, game delays, electricity etc.

For example:
NE Rev - Orlando
NY RB - Miami
Crew - Tampa

... you get the idea.  Also, for the SoCal and Texas teams, why not have a domed or other fair weather city be a partner?  Wonder how a partnership like Houston - St. Louis would work?    Or Chivas... and... Chivas Monterery.

US needs to conform to the international schedule, but winter games in Chicago,  NY, Boston etc. are too brutal.  So, this is the way to conform and expand at the same time.

Mr. Garber is free to call me for a consultation at any time.  He's had my number since he lied to us when he was shutting down my team in Tampa.

Thanks!

I agree, too bad I didn't know about the Batfans back in the day when I used to go to Mutiny games.
