'Knock -It-Around' Group to Sit in Section 103!

I'm happy to announce that the Knock-It-Around group, founded by Tampa resident Luke Cardillo, will be sitting in Section 103 this season, right in font of where we will be in 203! For those of you not familiar with the group, it is comprised mainly of business professionals who play pickup games during the week and set up networking lunches during televised soccer games. They will be part of the Rowdies Business Alliance, which will include corporate sponsors, vendors and other season ticket holders. The seats will cost the group's members $240 for the season.

I believe having this group in 103 will be very beneficial to us and Evan told me last week that the idea is for these two sections to really be the main supporters area in the stadium. Hopefully this means we will have to worry less about families sitting right in front of us and that this group will be more willing to join in with our chants!

The Knock it Around group is made up of business professionals who love soccer. It's a club and they will be buying their own seats. A lot of them do have kids, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of them bring them, but they will be more tolerant of us than more casual fans will be at first.

It seems like that group specifically, they do pick up soccer games together and other soccer related events. Pretty sure they are going to be an adult crowd as well.

At least I hope so.

Is it that group specifically that is getting tickets or the businesses from the Alliance getting the tickets? From my experience when businesses get tickets, they give them out to people or the people bring their families. The only reason I know this is because my dad used to work with alltel, and with him I went to Clemson games, UALR and UArk games and a lot of echl hockey and indoor football games.

I trust Evan though, I don't think he would put kids infront of us.

sounds more and more awesome. I hope they join in the chanting and songs. if they do we should have a meet up and get them some song sheets, chant lists.

It sounds like they have about 250 members on the e-mail list. I'm not sure how many show up to play, but Luke has a pretty good thing going and they've been around a lot longer than we have so have had time to grow.

That's a good question. I just asked Luke. I know they have a pretty good amount of people show up for the pickup games.
