I like it, most of them are in the cooler months. So maybe 80 degree nights as opposed to 90. They really need to crank up the PR though.

I like it!  I mean, what's not to like?  The long road swings at the end of the year are the only downside, but the Mob will be making road trips for a few of those.  So down the stretch when we are pushing for the playoffs, the team will have our direct support.

woot

Haha, let's not let this devolve into an MLB pissing contest, Francis! You're just upset Manny and Damon no longer play for the Red Sox! (Just kidding of course) Even with the Rays games on the same day, it is nice that they are so early. The early start times may be intended to accommodate the free summer concerts. That would be incredible to be able to combine a Rays game, concert and Rowdies game all in the same day! I wonder if the Rowdies will promote the team at the Trop. A lot was done last season at Lightning games -- hope that continues as well!

Well, looking at their roster the Rays won't be competitive so I wouldn't worry about the Rays conflict with their fans, if they show up at all. lol.

I love this schedule.  Almost all weekend games, and any games played on the same day as a Rays home game are played hours after the start of the Rays games.  Nicely done!

Rays Conflicts:

4/17 Rays at Home at 1.40pm

4/30 Rays at Home at 1.10pm

8/20 Rays at Home at 4.10pm

9/24 Rays at Home at TBD

Rays are away at all our other home games. Who said that the Rays schedule wasn't taken into account

I'm too lazy to look it up; how many of the home games conflict with Rays home games?

Another good thing with the schedule: assuming formatting stays the same, we get a 2 week break from regular season play just at the US Open Cup!

Would be the 2nd and 3rd round if the schedule is the same as last year
