Ralph’s Mob is happy to announce that for the second year in a row we’ll be taking part in Prideraiser, but in a much bigger way. Prideraiser is an annual pledge campaign put together across a coalition of supporter’s groups to raise money for local LGBTQ+ charities every June. It’s a combined effort with several groups participating throughout the US and Canada, but all funds go directly to organizations that make an impact in local communities.
Pride is an important part of the culture of Tampa Bay. The annual St. Pete Pride parade is the largest LGBTQ+ event in Florida and is gaining traction as one of the destination Pride celebrations internationally. The Rowdies, also supporters of Pride, have a Pride Night match scheduled for June 29th. Ralph’s Mob and Ralph’s Mob Charities is proud to be able to support our community and inclusive causes that are important to our region.
This year’s Prideraiser campaign will raise funds for Tampa Bay's own Metro Inclusive Health. Established in 1993, Metro Inclusive Health is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to providing quality health and wellness services that are inclusive, relevant, supportive and represent the lifetime continuum of the diverse people in our community.
How can I get involved?
There are two ways you can help us raise funds:
Ralph’s Mob "Pride Edition" Scarf: For the first time ever, we are offering a Ralph’s Mob "Pride Edition" scarf. Scarves are available for pre-order NOW (targeted for shipping and pickup in the first or second week of June). This special edition scarf will be priced at $20 with 100% of the profits going to Metro Wellness & Community Centers. We’ll only be doing one run of these scarves, so when they’re gone…they’re gone! (NOTE: To avoid shipping be sure to select “Pickup” on the shopping cart screen.)
Official Prideraiser Campaign: Our official Prideraiser campaign is also launching today. Participants pledge money for each goal scored at June Rowdies home matches and make their donations at the end of June (see details below).
How does Prideraiser Work?
Pledge: Make a pledge of a few dollars for every goal the Rowdies score during June home matches at Al Lang
Watch: Cheer on the Rowdies during Pride Month – there are three regular season home matches currently scheduled for June (Saturday, June 8th vs. North Carolina FC; Saturday, June 15thvs. Charleston Battery; Saturday, June 29thvs. Ottawa Fury FC)
Donate: At the end of June, we will contact you via Prideraiser to make a donation directly to Metro Inclusive Health
